Do I have to live in the Austin area?
No, we work with bouquets across the nation! If you live in Central Texas, we offer pick-up or local meet-up services to save you the trouble of shipping your bouquet. If you do not live in the area, I have very easy shipping instructions for you to follow. The key is sending your flowers to me as soon as possible in order to keep them looking fresh.
How long does the process take?
The entire process can take anywhere between 8 to 16 weeks, depending on the order size. Your flowers can take a month or more to dry, then I will design your pieces and send you photos for approval. At this point, we can make any adjustments to the design. Once you give final approval of the design, I will begin pouring the resin. Resin is poured in 1/4” layers, and each layer needs to fully cure before I can pour the next layer. This is the longest part of the process.
Do the flowers change colors?
During the drying process, some flower can change color. This is due to the moisture being removed from the flowers. This tends to happen with dark red flowers (they turn a little bit darker) and white flowers (they may brown a little bit). As of now, I do not offer color correction, but this may change in the future!
Can you work with fake or already dried flowers?
Yes! Fake flowers will preserve just as well as real flowers. If you have an old, dried bouquet, we can work with that as well! The pieces you’re able to get may be limited depending on the depth as already dried flowers aren’t able to be flattened.
How do I clean my pieces?
We include a Care Card with each completed order, giving you simple instructions on how to care for and clean your pieces so they will look beautiful forever!
